New Workshop dates for 2019

All workshops will be held in a new venue for 2019. The loaction is the Epping Creative Centre, 26 Stanley road Epping. 

Workshops commence at 1 PM and finish at 5 PM

 

WORKSHOP 1:  SATURDAY 3rd AUGUST

“ADVANCED LIGHTROOM TECHNIQUES" - THIS IS A TOTALLY UPDATED WORKSHOP

COST $80.00 or $60.00 WITH DISCOUNT **

This is a new workshop designed for photographers with a working knowledge of the basics of Lightroom, but who want to advance to more creative and effective methods of image processing.

Participants should be using either Lightroom 6 or Lightroom Classic CC to be able to take full advantage of the techniques to be demonstrated as some are not available on older versions. It is expected that participants have a working knowledge of the various Lightroom modules.

We will cover the following:

How to make Selective adjustments and controlling these with the brush tool,

How to create and save Presets,

Advanced use of Texture, Clarity, Sharpening and Dehaze,

How to control noise and sharpening effectively,

Synchronising processing over multiple images,

The Phototutor 8 Quick Processing Steps,

The Phototutor 6 Optional Processing steps for effective image processing and more.

Prerequisites:  All participants should be capturing RAW data, own their own laptop and have Lightroom installed and activated on their computer, as well as some images on an external hard drive or memory card, ready for use during the session.

WORKSHOP 2:  SUNDAY 11TH AUGUST

“PRINTING MASTER CLASS”

COST $120.00 OR $100.00 WITH DISCOUNT**

In this workshop, we will teach you how to take your processed image files and print them using your own Epson or Canon printer.  Participants will have the opportunity to print their own images during the workshop after we teach you how to maximise the quality and settings for printing.  We will have on hand our own Epson Printers for use during the workshop and a variety of papers to use for printing.  This workshop will teach you how to print your own images to the highest standard possible.

 Prerequisites:  All participants will to have their own laptop with Photoshop installed and activated, plus some sample images to prepare for printing.

·        All fees to be paid in full at the time of booking.  Your place on the workshop will be confirmed after receipt of your payment.

·        Courses are available on a first come basis.  Workshops will run for a minimum of 6 participants.

·        No refunds or cancellations if less than 4 weeks from the workshop date.

·        Should the course be cancelled due to insufficient numbers, we will provide a full refund or transfer to another workshop of your choosing.

·        Should the proposed venue be unavailable for any of the workshops, we will arrange a suitable alternative in a location nearby.
